German influencer Anna Miltina faced intense criticism during a recent episode of the ProSieben program 'Das große Promi-Büßen,' where she was confronted over allegations of racism and inappropriate content involving her children. The segment highlighted videos in which Miltina mimicked Korean speech and read abusive online comments to her young daughter, sparking outrage among viewers and fellow celebrities.
Anna Miltina, a German influencer known for documenting her family life online, faced public scrutiny during the sixth episode of the ProSieben television program 'Das große Promi-Büßen' (The Great Celebrity Atonement). The 29-year-old mother of two was required to defend her actions before host Olivia Jones and other celebrities in a segment titled the 'Round of Shame.'
The confrontation centered on three specific video clips. The first showed Miltina claiming her daughter, Aleyna, could speak Korean. In the footage, the child produces sounds mimicking the language while Miltina joins in. Jones clarified that neither the mother nor the child actually spoke Korean. Although Miltina typically shares open content of her children on her own channel, the broadcaster pixelated Aleyna’s face for this broadcast.
This incident had previously triggered significant backlash from Instagram users, who accused Miltina of racism. In a subsequent clip shown during the program, Miltina admitted she did not understand the concept of everyday racism before the controversy. When challenged on her behavior, she defended herself by stating that people were 'interesting' to her and describing the act as a 'secret language,' asserting she could not see what was wrong with it.
A third video presented more severe concerns, showing Miltina reading abusive online comments directly to her daughter. The influencer read insults such as 'Hey, you are so ugly' and 'I hope you don't exist someday' in a serious tone without hesitation. When criticized for this exposure, Miltina later claimed the segment was acting, insisting she was merely portraying a role by reading others' comments.
Jones questioned the validity of this defense, expressing doubt that the child truly understood the situation as performance despite any cognitive awareness. Following the confrontation, other celebrities present on the show began to distance themselves from Miltina, giving her the cold shoulder. It remained unclear whether this shift in reception was due to Jones’s intervention or the nature of the revealed content.
